“ We recently visited Calgary for the day and recalled that they offered Vern pizza. My husband and I immediately knew what we wanted to order, which was the MOMA MIA pizza. This pizza is comparable to a typical house pizza, but it is exceptionally large, weighing 5 pounds. Due to the generous toppings, the pizza can only be ordered in 15 or 18-inch sizes. My husband and I are particularly fond of their sauce, which has a slightly sweet flavor without being overpowering. When we placed our order, we were aware that the delivery time would be longer than usual, with a 40-minute cooking time. The customer service representative we spoke with was pleasant and inquired about our need for plates and utensils, which was a thoughtful gesture. We received our food within an hour of placing the order, and the delivery driver remembered to include the requested plates and utensils. It had been several years since we last had Vern pizza, but this location in Calgary consistently delivers high-quality food. I strongly recommend trying the MOMA MIA pizza, especially for those with a hearty appetite or a fondness for house pizza. The pizza is extremely filling and well worth the cost. The delivery driver was professional and friendly upon arrival.!! ”
“ I got the thick 18'' pizza for my colleagues and myself. It was huge and everyone was surprised how much pepperoni and ham was in it. Also it has reasonable amount of yummy vegetables. I do not recommended it though because no matter how tasty these pizzas are, processed meat (pepperoni and ham) is proven to significantly increase odds of getting cancer. ”
“ WAY BETTER THAN SENIORES This pizza joint is amazing, it has a nice thick crust that isn’t greasy but also isn’t overly dry. The pizza crust is also spiced perfectly. They also do pizza by the slice, and businesses that do that, are getting more difficult to find. The atmosphere is great it has a calming quiet eating area. The T-Rex pizza is aptly named considering how many layers of meat there are. The cheese is probably the best quality in the SE and there's a nice thick layer. The bottom crust is nice and thin but strong enough to hold the toppings. Everything about the pizza is seriously great quality. ”

“ I have always liked Verns Pizza. You need to understand that it is Saskatchewan Pizza, which is a class of its own. If you like thin crust or 4.99 pizza, you nay not like Verns. However, if you want to fill up with just 1 or 2 slices, then Verns is for you. Verns is more expensive than most, but you don't need a large pizza to fill you up. I can only eat 2 slices since it is loaded with toppings. ”
“ The best place in Calgary to get a "Regina Style" pizza. Was missing the pizza back home until I found out there's a Vern's right here in Calgary. Too bad it is the only one left in the city. Great pizza here, reccomend the Double double! ”
